Diego's Big Birthday Stroll (DA only!)

Somewhere in the South American country of Chile, a young man named Diego sat comfortably on his chair checking both his e-mail and his DeviantArt inbox. A few people were wishing him Happy Birthday, and he couldn't help but smile at all the messages he was receiving.
"It's nice that I have so many friends who take the time to say something for my birthday." Diego said. He tugged on his black T-shirt, brushed his blue polyester shorts, and then waved his hands in front of his face trying to stay cool… because it starts to warm up in Chile around this time of year.
But his happiness turned to that of a sigh very quickly, because there were two notable people that he hadn't heard a Happy Birthday from. One of them, BiggerBetterBarbie, was understandable because she was on a plane to Chile by now, expecting to arrive any hour much to his delight. But the other omission was kinda terrifying him.
"(sigh) Where is Machinasa? She's usually one of the first to say Happy Birthday." Diego said.

A few minutes later, while he was browsing around some other favorite websites of his (such as VGGTS World), he suddenly heard the doorbell ring.
"Oh? Who could that be?" Diego said. He grabbed the crutches to the side of his computer desk and grunted as he did his best to get up. This was the least fun part of the day, walking on crutches to get around the house. He carefully hobbled his way down the stairs from his upstairs playroom. It didn't make him feel any better that the doorbell was still ringing and the front door was still being knocked on.
"Okay, okay, I'm coming!" Diego said as he made his way towards the front door. He opened it up and saw a young woman with orange hair and wearing a nurse's outfit.
"Hola, Diego the Toon Master! Happy Birthday!" the woman said. It took a few seconds for Diego to recognize the woman, but when he did, he was smiling.
"Oh! Machinasa!" Diego said as he leaned forward on his crutches and allowed Machinasa to hug him and kiss him on his beard.
"Hahaha! I bet you're surprised to see me!" Machinasa said.
"Absolutely… how did you know where I live?" Diego asked.
"Teehee… you'd be surprised what I know from LindBlum!" Machinasa said.
"Of course. I wouldn't expect anything less from the great Machinasa." Diego said.
"Anyway, I wanted to bring you my present in person." Machinasa said as she walked into Diego's house.

Diego closed the front door and next wondered why Machi was dressed up like a nurse.
"So… what's with the nurse's outfit, if I may ask?" Diego asked.
"Don't worry, you'll find out soon. Go ahead, open your present!" Machinasa said as she set down the polka dot colored box on a nearby table. Diego walked towards the table (as safely as he could with the crutches) and picked up the box to unwrap it. Once the gift wrap was gone and Diego was able to open the box, he did so and saw a vial of blue liquid.
"Oh, what's this?" Diego asked.
"Straight from the doctors in my kingdom. Gulp the entire bottle down and your legs and feet will be fully healed. You'll be sprinting around like Usain Bolt!" Machinasa said.
"Really? You made this for me?" Diego said.
"Of course! We are long distance friends, right? It's the least I can do." Machinasa said.
"Well, okay. I've always wanted to put a little Machinasa magic in my body." Diego said. With that said, he popped open the bottle and drank every last drop of the blue liquid.

Diego didn't have to wait long for the results. He felt a brief tingling in his legs, and once it faded away, he set his feet down on the floor and got off the crutches. He was standing perfectly straight and didn't feel even a millisecond of pain.
"It… it worked!" Diego said.
"Teehee… just like I thought it would! Go ahead, walk around." Machinasa said. Diego did just that, walking around the house like any other person might. It was an extremely good feeling and it brought a smile to his face.
"Wow… thanks, Machinasa! I can never thank you enough, even if this ends up being temporary." Diego said.
"It's my pleasure, Diego. Actually, there's one more surprise. Go ahead and walk outside." Machinasa said.
"Huh? Now?" Diego asked.
"Yeah! Don't worry about changing into other clothes." Machinasa said as she pointed at the bearded man's black T-shirt, blue polyester shorts, and bare feet. Diego nodded and opened up the front door, walking outside his home with 'nurse' Machinasa close behind.

That's when the next major change occurred in Diego's body. He (and the clothes he wore) was getting bigger.
"Oh… this is…" Diego said.
"Yes, my dear friend, Diego! Grow grow grow! I love watching people grow bigger!" Machinasa said as she jumped up and down in excitement. Already Diego was 30 feet tall and rising further into the air, which only brought a smile to Machinasa's face. About a minute later, Diego's growth came to an end. The birthday man now stood as a 300-foot-tall giant. Once again, Machinasa was captivated.
"Oh la la la la…" Machinasa said.
"Wow! I'm so big! Actually being a giant is much different than imagining it!" Diego said.
"And you look so good at it too! Just like Fez and Twilight Prince!" Machinasa shouted from next to Diego's right foot. That's when the giant gently reached down and picked up Machinasa, moving his hand up in front of his face.
"Ho ho ho, I think you still look beautiful yourself, Machinasa. You're more beautiful even when you're smaller." Diego said.
"Awwww… that's so sweet of you." Machinasa said as she gently kissed the giant on his beard, which made him smile and blush a bit.
"Now come on! Why not show off to the rest of Chile your magnificent new size!?" Machinasa said.
"Oh, you're not going to grow and stand alongside me?" Diego asked. Machinasa shook her head.
"I stay at this size whenever a good friend is celebrating a birthday. I want them to be the giant star of the day!" Machinasa said.
"Gladly!" Diego said as he placed Machinasa on his left shoulder. Machinasa sat tight and held on for the ride as Diego got to walking towards the nearest city.

It only took a couple minutes of casually walking for the giant Diego to finally reach a big city. Naturally, everyone looked up at the giant and got to running away thinking he was here to destroy the city.
"Don't panic, everyone! I'm not that kind of giant!" Diego shouted.
"Teehee… I don’t think they're getting the message." Machinasa said.
"Well, it's not surprising. They just don't want to get stepped on, even if I'll be as careful as can be." Diego said. The giant did indeed carefully make his way through the city, making sure not to brush any of the buildings he towered alongside or crush anyone beneath his feet. In fact, he seemed to be looking for a specific type of person, which Machinasa recognized.
"You look like you're looking for something." Machinasa said.
"Just any brave souls who are looking up in awe… like those two." Diego said as he pointed down to a couple who was not running away from him. He got down on one knee to get a closer look at the two.
"Hi there. You're not scared of me?" Diego asked.
"No, not at all! We both love giants… well, to be precise, I love giantesses and she loves giants." the man said.
"We thought we'd never see a giant person in real life." the woman said.
"Heh, well, here I am. As real as I can be." Diego said.
"How did you grow so big?" the woman asked.
"Oh… I'm afraid that's a secret. You know, I don't want anyone else to be stomping around Chile." Diego said.
"Understandable." the man said.
"Um… can I? Can I touch you?" the woman said.
"Well, sure! I don't see why not." Diego said. He let the woman run up to his big toe and watched as she hugged as much of it as she could.

"Mmmmm… almost makes me wish I could shrink and hug my husband's big toe." the woman said. She was so fascinated with the toe that she didn't notice Diego lowering a finger towards her. The giant gently caressed the woman on her backside, which made her giggle a bit.
"Teeheehee! That feels nice!" the woman said. Diego couldn't help but smile seeing the joy this woman was having.
Just then, Diego looked up and saw a plane flying high in the sky amongst the clouds, and that reminded him of something. He was supposed to meet up with BiggerBetterBarbie at the airport!
"Well, I'm glad I could make you both happy, but I must be going. I'm supposed to pick up someone… no pun intended… at the airport. Goodbye!" Diego said as he stood up and stepped over the couple and deeper into the city.
"Wow… so big… ahhhhhh…" the woman said as she started to faint towards the ground, but her husband was there to catch him.
"Okay, honey, let's get you home so you can get back to fantasizing." the man said as he and the woman walked in the opposite direction of the giant.

Of course, having been in the city as a normal sized person before, Diego knew his way around and knew which directions to take to arrive at the airport. Still, that didn't mean he could stop and admire the scenery for a bit more. In fact, he came to a sudden stop when he almost crushed a bus full of people.
"Whoa!" Diego said. The giant kneeled down and gently picked up the bus, holding it firmly in both his hands.
"Are you all okay? That was a close call!" Diego said. He listened in to the faint screams of the people inside the bus, and that was bringing a smile to his face.
"Wow… it feels so nice to be holding this bus like it's a toy." Diego said.
"Teehee! That's why I love being so big… aside from days like today, of course!" Machinasa said. Diego examined the bus from every angle, not making the people feel any better as he tilted the vehicle around exploring every last bit of it. He moved the bus around his body, giving everyone close ups of his beard, his black T-shirt, his blue shorts, etc.
"So what did you think everyone? Everything looked so big, didn't it?" Diego said. Then he gently set the bus down on the road.
"Well, go on. Time to get back on the road." Diego said, watching as the bus drove off slowly.
"Teehee… I bet they're surprised you let them go!" Machinasa said.
"Yeah, but of course, I'm not that kind of giant, at least not this time." Diego said.
"Hee hee, that's cool! What you do with your new size is just as much fun as growing to it. I should know!" Machinasa said. Diego nodded to the tiny girl on her shoulder, and then got back to walking towards the airport, which he could see in the distance with a few planes parked on the runway.

Meanwhile, just outside the airport entrance, BiggerBetterBarbie was busy checking everything in her backpack and making sure nothing got lost during transit, especially her laptop. That would be very VERY bad news if that got lost! ^_____^
"Whew… okay, it looks like everything's here." Barbie said. She was so focused on her belongings that she didn't realize until now that there was a panic amongst the crowd. Many of them were running around, asking if this person or that person was okay.
"Hmmmm? I wonder what's with the panic? Is severe weather coming?" Barbie said. But she quickly got her answer when a shadow suddenly blocked out the sunlight. She looked up and gasped.
"(gasp) Oh my!!" Barbie said. Walking towards her was a giant man. She had a little trouble recognizing him at first, thinking it might've been Fez or Twilight Prince at first.
"Are you… are you BiggerBetterBarbie?" Diego asked as he looked straight down and then got down on one knee. The giant recognized the tiny woman from the pictures they traded of each other so they both would know who to look for.
"I am… wait! You're Diego?" Barbie said.
"Hmmhmmhmm… yes I am. It's an honor to finally meet you in person." Diego said.
“Heh… you’re a LOT taller than I pictured.” Barbie said.
“Well, I had some help.” Diego said. He then lowered a hand towards the girl with long brown hair, glasses over her eyes, short black shorts, a white tank top, and flip flops on her feet. Barbie thought about it for a few seconds and then hopped onto the palm of the giant’s hand. She held on as she was raised up to the air, seeing nothing but the giant’s face.

But she remembered what he said about getting help for growing big, and that’s when she looked on his right shoulder.
“Hi BiggerBetterBarbie! Or maybe I should say Better Barbie!” Machinasa said.
“Hi, Machi! I should’ve known you’d work your magic again.” Barbie said.
“Teehee… guilty as charged!” Machinasa said. Barbie then watched as Diego took a finger from his other hand and carefully stroked her hair.
"Hmmmm… I hope you don't mind me holding onto you. You look like a little Barbie doll in my hand… no pun intended." Diego said with a smile.
"Thanks! That's a creative way of using my name." Barbie said as she sat still in the giant's hand, letting him lightly stroke her hair, although she couldn't sit for long. She fell backwards when he started poking lightly at her stomach. Barbie was laying on her back, laughing out loud as she felt Diego's ever so slight touch on her belly.
"Heeheehee, hahaha! That tickles!" Barbie said as she kicked her legs around. They sometimes hit Diego's finger, but he couldn't feel them given how big he was.
"You look so cute being this tiny…" Diego said as he continued to toy with BiggerBetterBarbie, much to her enjoyment.
"Teehee… that feels so good." Barbie said as she finally got a grip with Diego's soft touch as his finger rubbed up and down her tummy and also her chest, all covered of course by her white tank top.
Machinasa couldn't help but smile over seeing Barbie enjoy being gently played around with. She couldn't resist wanting a piece of this kind of action too.
"Hey, Diego! How about giving me a massage!? Wheeeeee!" Machinasa said as, much to Diego's initial surprise, she ran forward and slid down the giant's arm, even leaping and doing a somersault in the air and sticking a perfect landing next to Barbie in the palm of his hand.
"Wow! That was awesome, Machinasa!" Diego said.
"Of course! I have friends like Thalia and Edith to thank for teaching me these moves." Machinasa said. As people continued to run away for safety, with some having to run around the giant’s bare feet, Diego now had two tiny women in his hand, which made him quite happy. He fiddled with both BiggerBetterBarbie and Machinasa at the same time, often making them both laugh from being tickled. He tried getting a little too close as he gently lifted Barbie’s shirt, but she quickly pulled it away.
“Oh! That’s cutting it a bit too close.” Barbie said.
“Oh… I’m sorry, Barbie. I got a little carried away there.” Diego said.
“It’s okay, I understand. I wouldn’t want my brother to come flying in with his flames in full force.” Barbie said with a cute smile.
“Yes, you’re right. He’s very powerful and someone I don’t want to anger.” Diego said with a couple nods.
“I’ll agree with that, but that’s why we all love him!” Machinasa said.

“Still, I can’t thank you both enough. Machinasa for making me this big, and Barbie for letting me handle you with loving care. This has been a birthday I will never forget.” Diego said.
“You’re quite welcome, Diego! I bet nothing can top what you’ve gone through this day.” Machinasa said. A thought then occurred to Diego as he briefly looked out in the distance.
“Well… maybe just one thing, but it’s so unrealistic I shouldn’t even be saying it out loud.” Diego said.
“Go ahead, tell us!” Machinasa said.
“You know Anju from Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time?” Diego said.
“Ha! How could I forget!? I’ve played that game it feels like a trillion times!” Machinasa said.
“I’ve… well… I’ve always wanted to see her either gigantic or me being tiny in her home.” Diego said.
“Say no more! Nurse Machinasa, the expert portal creator, at your service!” Machinasa said. The orange-haired girl stepped to the edge of Diego’s hand and waved her hands together, eventually thrusting them forward. Diego's jaw dropped as he watched a portal just his size open up.
"Behold! Your ticket to Kakariko Village, directly inside the home of Anju. When you're done, just say my name and I'll pick you up." Machinasa said.
"Oh? You're not coming with me?" Diego said.
"Nah… you two deserve to be together without me to snoop around!" Machinasa said. Diego got where Machinasa was coming from and he nodded.
"I understand." Diego said.

That's when he kneeled down and allowed Machinasa to safely step back on the ground. Barbie did exactly the same thing.
"Yeah, I'd rather not go myself. I should be getting back to Miami… I ought to write about this day into a story! That's okay with you, right Diego?" Barbie said.
"Of course, Barbie. I wouldn't want Cubed Cinder to think I was kidnapping you. Besides, I got to cuddle with you and that's what counts most!" Diego said with a smile.
"Well then, get going you big birthday guy, you! Say hi to Anju for me!" Machinasa said. Diego took a deep breath and stepped his way through the portal, which closed as soon as he stepped through. Both Machinasa and Barbie could hear a small crowd cheering, no doubt one of relief as the giant was no longer towering over their city and airport. The two girls then looked at each other.
"Say, Machi… how about we both teleport back to Miami as giantesses? You know, just to play around like Diego did today." Barbie said. Machinasa had a huge grin on her face.
"I thought you'd never ask, my friend!" Machinasa said as she opened up another portal, a smaller one given the normal size (for now!) of the two.

As for Diego, the light was bright at first, but eventually it died down and his setting was drastically different. He was no longer towering over a city in his home country of Chile. In fact, he wasn't towering over anything! He looked around to see he was in a huge bedroom, like he had climbed up a beanstalk and entered a giant's castle. He figured he was standing on a dresser because the floor was a long ways down as he looked over the edge. But Diego could wonder no more, as soft booms in the distance told him someone big was coming.
And that someone was indeed Anju, better known as the girl Link helped get her chickens back after they escaped. Diego's eyes sparkled as he watched the giantess slowly walk towards him.
"Best birthday of all time…" Diego said to himself. He backed away as he watched Anju stand in front of her dressed and put her hands down where he was standing. She was touching up her hair and taking a deep breath.
"(sigh) What a busy day it's been." Anju said as she looked the mirror and straightened out her hair with a brush. Diego, meanwhile, quickly jumped up and down trying to get the giantess's attention.
"Anju! Anju!!" Diego shouted, and it worked. Anju looked down on top of her dressed and lightly gasped.
"Oh? Who are you?" Anju asked.
"Sorry if I'm intruding, but I'm Diego. I'm one of your biggest fans." Diego said with a smile.
"Oh? I have a fan? How intriguing! But… you're so tiny…" Anju said.
"It's kind of a long story." Diego said.
"Are you perhaps one of those Minish people I've read legends of?" Anju asked.
"Well, kinda. Like I said, it's a bit of a long story." Diego said.
"And one I wouldn't mind hearing. I… to be honest, I've been wanting to have some company for the longest time." Anju said.
"Really?" Diego asked.
"Sure! Come on… I'll take you to the dinner table and we'll eat together." Anju said as she lowered a hand down on the tiny man. Diego, without hesitation, hopped on. He then got a quick tap on his forehead from the smiling giantess.
"Heh… I think you're kinda cute, just between you and me." Anju said as she walked away from the dresser. Diego couldn't help but laugh thinking how it was not too long ago that the tables were turned. Heck, he almost wondered if he should've wished to Machinasa if he had stayed big in Hyrule and be petting Anju on the head for a change.

But no matter, between this and being a most gentle giant (with a story on that adventure to be written by BiggerBetterBarbie), Diego would have the best birthday of his entire life. ^_____^
